Participating in after-school programmes enhances personal growth, strengthens self-esteem, and promotes a balance between study and leisure.
KENDALE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Afternoon activities will start on Monday 21st September 2026, when full day classes begin and will end on Thursday 10thJune 2027. All activities will be following the school calendar. The times will be from 3:45pm. and all sessions will last 1 hour (with the exception of Extra Italian for 5th Graders, which will last 1h30min.). Parents are kindly requested to not arrive before the designated time and to wait outside the main building where the children will be accompanied by the teacher. Gates will be locked at 4:55pm. Please provide your child with an afternoon snack.
Please note that fees vary depending on each activity and so does the minimum number of students required for each activity to begin. Fees are not refundable in the case of absences and are payable in advance in two instalments (September and January) upon receipt of the invoice.
Homework / After School
The homework programme will help students complete “take-home” assignments, clarify concepts and improve their learning. Any time remaining will be given to individual reading and/or free play.

Art & Crafts
with Ms. Marit Pfrommer
In our Art Club we will build artistic confidence, skills and curiosity. Besides working on our artistic skills and letting our creativity run its course, we will also learn some facts about the history of art. Time management is also a very important skill that we will work on as we aim to complete our art works in time. With the help of extra interesting materials brought from home, we will work on both group and personal projects, (focus on recycling and environmental responsibility).
Price: €650 Full Year (min of 6 students)
Time: Tuesday from 15:45 to 16:45
Age: 6+
Football and Athletic Activities
with Mr. Marciano
The period will be divided into 2 sections. The first section will be devoted to games and activities designed both for fun and for strengthening of muscles, speed and endurance. The second section will be utilized for mini soccer competitions.
Price: €300 for Full Year (once a week) – €600 for Full Year (twice a week) (min 8 students)

Age: 6+
Modern Dance
with Ms. Maria Elena Ricci
In the Dance workshop we will develop dancing skills, learn about choreography and experiment with improvised movement. Using modern and contemporary dance techniques, the children will engage in exercises designed not only to teach them dancing skills, but also to make them more comfortable performing in the presence of an audience. This workshop will require focus and dedication, as well as curiosity and playful experimentation.

Age: 4+
Italian – Formal Preparation for 5th Grade State Exam
with Mrs. Marzia Costantini
The Italian language course provides for the study and deepening of various disciplines such as history, geography, science and math using a “sussidiario” for reference. From time to time an oral analysis of the parts of speech will be consolidated in an extension of class work. The main goal of the course is to increase oral quality so that the students will be more confident at the time of the exam.
Price: €820 for Full Year (min 6 students)
